DIY Ombre Projects on Hometalk

You know what happens in 4 days, right? Wether you  you embrace it or ignore it, it’ll still be here. And unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, then you know I’m talking about Valentine’s Day.

In honor of this day of love I wanted to revisit a project I recently shared. You might remember this ombré wooden heart sign?  If not, you can see how I made it here!

It’s so easy (and cute!) that you can still make it in time for Valentine’s Day!

And I liked my little ombré heart so much that when I was asked to round up a few ombré projects by Hometalk I just couldn’t resist!

I know ombré is a trend that we’ve been seeing for the past several years now, but something tells me it’s not going anywhere for a while yet. Wether it’s in hair fashion or feature walls in your home, we are still seeing ombré everywhere.

And the proof is in the puddin’ because here are just a  few of my favorites over the past few years!

Domestically Speaking shares a great tutorial on how to ombré walls!

Ashley with Simply Designing updates a thrift store plant stand with this beautiful herringbone ombré pattern!

And if you want to get a really big head start (what, it’s only 10 months away) on Christmas decorating, take a look at how Roeshel from DIY Show Off made this ruffled ombré tree skirt. No sew people, no sew!

So pop on over to Hometalk and take a look at all 18 of these great DIY ombrê projects I just adore, maybe you’ll even recognize one of them as your own!
